Mic not working

My mic works on Teams and Google Meets but has suddenly stopped working on  Zoom. I have followed all trouble shooting suggestions on zoom including uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, but nothing works. The mic on my laptop on zoom is ok so it's just on my Mac desktop. Any advice welcome as this is causing real problems, thanks.

I did in the end thank you - it was intermittent so I have no idea what worked in the end! Thank you for asking.

I am having the same issue, so I was wondering how you were able to resolve it.

The things I tried were to ensure everything on my desktop was updated, switched off and on, I went through all audio settings on zoom to unset and reset and although the mic would still not work that day, when I tried again the next day it did. I have no idea why and it's very frustrating as you fear it happening again for an important meeting.
