I am a music teacher and I am trying to demonstrate music examples by playing along with a track. First of all, when I share audio, it is always a lot softer than my system settings. Whenever I hit the share audio button, it seems to change the settings in the system. Then when I try to play along with the music, my microphone ends up cutting out. The mic also ends up being a little behind the audio.
I am using a scarlet 2i2 interface on a Mac computer.

I would try the following if you have not already done so.
In the Zoom desktop client, go to Settings > Audio > Music and Professional Audio. Enable that setting. Enable High Fidelity music mode.
Once in the Zoom meeting, you can enable "Original Sound" by clicking in the top left corner.
If my reply to your question resolved it for you, please click on "Accept as Solution" where my reply shows. This way, community member with the same question will know how to resolve it, and additional member won't spend time trying to respond to your request.

@RobF hey man, I was trying to record a wedding ceremony this weekend using my Zoom L-12 and Zoom Pro, the microphone sounded as it should bu the music kept cutting out no matter what audio setting I selected in the zoom panel, it was almost like there was a gate or limiter of some sort on there, the only way to fix this was to set the mode to "Zoom background noise removal" and setting Low, but it still didn''t sound perfect, is there a setting in the panel that turns off all processing done in the application so that the Zoom mixer I'm using can sound properly in the meeting? (the headphone signal and master output from the mixer sounded perfect so I know for sure its the app) thanks!!

I am having the same issue and no matter what combo of audio settings I use, the msuic cuts outs if there's a voice on the track. It's as if Zoom thinks it needs to remove the bg sound (music) so the voice can be heard.
It's impossible for me to play music during my zoom sessions which is mission critical for the success of my sessions. What in the world can I do except change apps?
