Meeting was being recorded but cannot find recording

I hosted a meeting last week and I remember saying to myself, "Oh I need to record this" but then I looked at the top right corner and it had the red circle and said "Recording". Of course now I can't find the recording, in the cloud recordings or locally. I checked all over my Zoom account for it - deleted files, etc. No sign of it. Is there anywhere else this could be? I asked the other presenters but they don't have it. What happened?

It could have been recorded in the cloud storage for the account holder.

If somebody else recorded it locally, they would need to be a host or co-host, or ask permission from the host.

I have the same problem today. It's a big fail of zoom. I even remember to hear recording in progress.

Worst thing about Zoom in my opinion - seems to happy pretty often to me.

We just had a meeting where I was host.  Normally, I hit record at the beginning, but I noticed that it already said "recording", so I thought one of the two co-hosts had hit record.  But they didn't, and now I don't know where the recording went.  Any suggestions?  It did not go to my computer or our cloud.
