MacOS Desktop App fails to connect

My MacBook Air will connect to a Zoom meeting when using the browser but quite often fails to connect whn using the desktop client app. I have removed and re-installed the desktop app and nothing ever changes. Any ideas?

    Hi.

     

    When you install the app, check the app version you are downloading and once installed, check if it is up to date.

    All updates on MacOS installed and the download is the latest from the Zoom website. Interestingly I have also done sdome more testing and it seems to fail to connect when I click on a meeting I have been invited to. When it is a meeting I have created it works most of the time.
