Question

Mac version of desktop client not supported on Monterey.

This question was asked previously (years ago) and the answer that worked back then isn't working for me. I have to download this onto my 4 year old's computer (she has an old one because... she's 4!) and I don't want to upgrade a computer. Her school requires Zoom desktop client.
Each time I download, it says it's not supported. I've tried all the work-arounds I can find on the internet so far. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Welcome to the world of never ending computer sales. Apple continually forces users to update to make sales.

You can purchase a mini PC that works with Zoom for about $200.

Zoom has a minimum version requirement.

If the minimum version does not work with your computer's OS then the OS needs to be updated. If the hardware does not support the needed OS then the computer needs to be replaced.

If the desktop client version is required (browser version not allowed) by the school then you will need to make the appropriate changes.
