Mac to tv hdmi connections

 In a hybrid meeting with my Macbook with a wireless speaker connected via bluetooth, a external microphone connected via USB, and the correct settings for video and audio set on Zoom, everything works fine. When I connect to a tv with a HDMI cable from my Mac the video shows on the tv but I lose the audio from participants in the meeting.

Similar problem here, MacBook (and Mac mini and iPhone) mirroring (not HDMI)  to TV, video comes through but not sound, the laptop will have sound but not comming through the TV, help please.
