Mac: Zoom freezes after Screen Sharing

Hi,

MacBook Pro 16" (2019) macOS Sonoma (14.4.1), Zoom (latest). Sometimes (!) when someone shares his screen with me I realize that I can not maximize the window, which is showing the shared screen. Then I realize, that Zoom does not accept any klicks from me, I even can't quit it. I have to kill and restart Zoom.

Is this a known problem? How can I fix it?

I am having this same problem on my MacBook air running Sonoma 14.7.  I have removed and reloaded Zoom app, but after sharing my screen in a meeting last night I could no longer control anything--could not admit people, or even exit out of zoom.  I had to shut down my computer.  The people on the meeting at the time were still active and I could see and hear them, so I explained Zoom was stuck AGAIN and I would have to power off my MacBook to end zoom and regain control of my computer.  Previously I had removed ALL file related to Zoom and reloaded the latest version Zoom, thought that fixed problem, but did not.  rls-bergedorf you are not alone!
