Mac OS 17 - Share other spaces

I am trying to share a slide from a presentation in fullscreen mode in a different space (desktop) from the Zoom app's main window.  If I am not in the space with the slide Zoom pauses the sharing.

I want to share a slide but not have participants see my mouse pointer when I stop sharing or change the slide.
