Limiting Audio Input to a Specific Device - Emmanuel Katto

Hi All, I am Emmanuel Katto. I'm using Zoom for virtual meetings with a team, and we often have multiple audio devices connected to our computers. Is there a way to limit the audio input to a specific device, such as a headset or a microphone, instead of picking up audio from multiple devices? We have a team lead who uses a USB headset for audio input, but sometimes other team members' microphones start picking up their voices and it causes echo or feedback.

Any Idea how to resolve this issue?

Thanks!

Emmanuel Katto

@emmanuelkatto - Zoom will always present every audio device available, although it should default to the last device used if available.  If people are hearing others in the area, try having them change their audio settings to use 'Personalized audio isolation' to eliminate the other voices.  Otherwise, they can set their background noise suppression to high to see if that helps.
