Keyboard shortcut to show and hide captions

I'd like to show and hide captions via the keyboard on a Windows computer. Any suggestions?

We use Zoom for hybrid services at my church.  We need to turn captions on and off many times during each service.  I've created an autohotkey script to do this, but it's brittle, slow, and disruptive.  Zoom _really_ needs to add a hotkey for this!
