Joining scheduled meetings

The last few months people end up on different meetings even though we are all using the same url. Or it will say host has another meeting in progress. Again yesterday I had a scheduled meeting--I am the host.  First, it said I had another meeting in progress and to close it. I didn't want to close it in case someone else was already in. It took me three tries to get in. Three people never could get in despite trying several times.
