Joining a meeting

I have a free account but have used the Zoom client to access meetings others have set up.  Now when I try to do that it says my app needs upgrading and contact my IT team.  I don't have an IT Team as I am an individual, I tried contacting Zoom support but they don't recognise my ID.  Any ideas>>

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Sandra19.

Updating the Zoom Client is a little different depending on your device and operating system – but it’s not a difficult process. See this Zoom Support article for details:

    Hi Ray

Thanks for the reply.  However it isn't the client that I am being asked to upgrade but the app.  The error message say "Your app version needs to be 5.10.3 or higher to sign in.  Please contact your IT Team to upgrade your app.  Thanks

Sorry but thats the same link as you sent before and it doesn't help.  When I try to join a meeting I get the same message saying I need to upgrade the app not the client
