Joining a meeting - Required to have the Zoom App?

I don't seem to be able to find the answer to this simple question.  Are participants I invite to meetings required to  have the zoom app or to download the zoom app when joining?

No, Zoom also supports the web browser as a way of connecting.

users may need to enable Show a "Join from your browser" link.

personal->Settings->Meetings->Show a "Join from your browser" link
