Internal microphone not working on HP Pavillion, only with Zoom

I have tried every solution I can find to get my microphone to work on a Zoom call, but no luck.  It works on all other applications.  I found the same issue in the forum, but the solution instructed you to go to Settings and Audio and I cannot find those.   I am using Windows 10.  Please help.
