Increase Zoom participants for the current meeting

I have a Zoom pro account which allows hosting of up to 100 participants.  I will host a Zoom meeting  of around 100 participants in the near future.  Is it possible to start the meeting with the current 100 participant limit and increase it to 500 by purchasing the “large meeting” add-on if the number of participants might reach the limit during the meeting?

The host of the meeting would need to have the larger capacity assigned to them before the start of the meeting. Otherwise the capacity change will not be applied.

I paid to increase the capacity of participants for my meeting today; however, my profile still says 100 participants. Will Zoom allow the increase of participants up to 1000 for my meeting today?
