Images in chat

I am finding that I am not able to view images sent via the chat in meetings / classes. Others in the meetings can see them. 
I am using a galaxy tablet A10. 
I have updated zoom and searched here and other places on the web for solutions.
I am looking for a solution - zoom is suggesting I view images via other apps but none of the ones I have - gallery etc will display them either.
