I need help learning how to use my Zoom with FB Group Live please.

On Friday I had a Zoom FB LIVE with someone in the UK.  We had our times correct.  She got on from the invite I sent her and was waiting.  I got on with the scheduled meeting, but we were not connected.  I do pay for the Zoom service that allows this!  Help!
