I forgot to end poll before ending the meeting

I too have been looking for answers to this.
I have run 2 polls but did not end the poll before closing the calls and I can not find the poll results. I am assuming the poll must be "ended" before you close the call or your poll submissions will be lost. Is that correct?
If that is correct, it would be extremely helpful to have that in the instructions (to be well documented) and also as a warning before you close a call, "Your poll is still open, would you like to close and save your results?" Or better yet, what makes the most intuitive sense, just end the poll automatically when a user closes the call.
