I don't see people in the waiting room

Hi, 

Since the beginning of the year, when people join my personal room, I don't see them in the waiting room. Instead, I receive an e-mail saying they have joined, I need to close the meeting and open it again from the link on the e-mail.

I have the latest zoom version and I have already tried what has been suggested in other posts, but the problem persists. 

How can I solve this?
