I do not have the Annotate pencil

In my zoom profile settings, Annotate is enabled.  I start a meeting and share the screen, but the Annotate pencil icon does not appear.  I'm using 5.14.7 (2928) on Ubuntu 22.04.2 if that matters.

    Hello, I am having exactly the same issue. I have upgraded to the zoom application version 5.15.2 (4260) but still nothing, the annotate pencil does not appear. Zoom, could you please help us.

      Marco - their support says this happens with the Linux client, and the "fix" is to share one desktop instead of everything or one app.  I was able to get it going by sharing a desktop, but that's a PITA.
