I cannot use USB Mic or Audio Interface; audio is garbled/repeating/buzzy.

Please help.  Problem only started a couple of weeks ago.  My USB Mic or Audio Interface Mic would not work properly.  It is either jittery or garbled.  I could not even get clear audio when using mic with Audio Interface.  This has not happened before but issue only started a couple of weeks ago.  iMac Pro running macOS Catalina 10.15.7.  Zoom version 5.8.1.

Hi @randymsantaana

I would ensure your USB Mic, or Audio Interface, is connected directly to your computer (not via a USB hub or anything similar).

Then I would try with Original Sound ON (or OFF depending on its state).

How are you hearing your audio as jittery or garbled? Are you monitoring your audio from another connection into Zoom, or are you getting reports from other participants?

Can you try a simple test meeting at  https://zoom.us/test

Thank you for the suggestion.  Support gave me a solution to try out that worked.
