I DON'T WANT ZOOM WORKPLACE - how do I turn it off?

I went into my Zoom today, which I use for personal reasons to stay in touch with family. I opened on my desktop, per usual, signed in, and it immediately took me to "Zoom Workplace" and all my scheduled meetings were gone. I had to go onto Zoom's website and login to my account there in order to find them.

I do not want Zoom workplace.  I do not want to be charged for Zoom workplace. I don't want to have to sign in through the website. If I find out I'm being charged extra for a service I neither wanted nor use, I'm cancelling my account and moving to another online meeting platform.

Does anyone know how to switch back, or have experienced this?

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!! Your recurring meetings are NOT GONE! In the meetings tab look at the very bottom of the window and you will see a link that says "Recurring (XX)" (where XX is the number of recurring meetings).

Zoom Workplace is simply the latest version of Zoom and offers numerous features in part includes to manage chatting before, during, and after, scheduling, calendaring, starting, and editing meetings.

Here is the solution you are looking for: https://app.zoom.us/wc/home  use the web interface!
I work in sales and to accommodate our prospects we have Teams, Zoom, Webex, and we use Google Workspace. Because of the bad UI that the Zoom Workplace provides, we mainly use Google Meet now.
However, we still have a Zoom subscription as a backup.

Thank you for the tip.  I will use the web interface which resembles the old, allows me to easily copy the link, and easy to create the meeting for my classes...

Hello - The accepted "solution" is:

Zoom Workplace is awesome! Turn that frown upside down using a three-character hotkey found by looking up changes!

Software often does this—the intention is benign, but sometimes, the plan is seen by many as unhelpful.

Changes.

What you want is to go back to a previous version. You can download older versions of Zoom:

I also have the problem, that I have created a reccuring Meeting, with no fixed schedule.
Few Years ago, this was possible, nowadasy, you have to set up fixed schedule, which is very unhandy.

The Link ist integrated in automated Emails, I can not set up a ne meeting, I need this specific meeting ID.
In the app, it was alwasy shown under reccuring meetings. There it desappeared.

In the Browser, it is on display, as an upcoming meeting.
Will it return to reccuring meetings, when the appointment is over?

I want to set up reccuring without fixed schedule.
I want all this meetings on diesplay in the recurring section, even if there is an activ appointment.

It worked well for years, until now?
Please help.

In the screenshot, one can see still one reccuring, but the AWAKEN your SOUL from 29. January, should also be in the recurring section, as well as this one specific upcomming event.

I'm with you... I DON;T WANT ZOOM WORKPLACE EITHER.  I work with many elderly people that are just barely hanging on to their ability to use their computers.  All I want is the ability to set up a link to a meeting that I can use anytime without putting it on a calendar, no password to get into the meeting or any other numbers.  Once I have the meeting up and running all we need is the ability to change the view (speaker, gallery) turn on and off our camera and mic, share screens closed captioning, and have more then one of my devices "attending" the meeting (that ability disappeared in the last week or so).  I'm paying for an account and the product is becoming less and less usable for me.  It's kind of like buying a car and each time I take the car in for an oil change they take off a wheel, add a dumbbell and tell me that "it's so much better to drive without the back left wheel and oh look you can lift weights while you drive."  SHEESH

That is THE BEST description I have heard! I have ENOUGH software and suites already, They should offer the suite AND the thing that made the ZOOM name and company. Those that want the suite can get it. But forcing it on me is not going to make me quit using the suite I already have and that is geared toward my industry. it's going to make me switch over and use their video meetings instead of zoom.

Were you able to find a way to disable the whole Zoom Workplace and go back to the zoom teleconferencing?  I don't hate the software but is the classical case of overdoing a product. If Zoom were to focus their resources on optimizing teleconferencing experiences instead of trying to duplicate office products we would all be happier.  Instead of duplicating, why don't you create plugins for other products? integration sounds like a better option. AI sounds like a better option.  I don't find a good option messing with my calendar! How do I disable it?

Zoom is going down the Evernote path of destruction.  A great single product that was easy to do is now bloatware.  Workplace, calendar and a lot of other useless functionality will someday kill the golden goose.  Much harder to use a 3rd party calendar now.   When this happened to Evernote I was lucky to find Apple Notes, simple, easy and everywhere.  Love it.  Does anyone know of a simple conference video software without the crap Zoom now has on it.  I would pay a lot for simplicity.

No, I have not found a work-around.  I have one repeating-meeting set-up from the old version.  I use that link for all my meetings and cross my fingers that it doesn't disappear like the rest of my repeating-meeting links that I used to use.

I have that exact thing happening, and I can't seem to make it go away. It drives me crazy. Every danged day I have to click them several times to turn them off.

NOW i'm suddenly getting my emails thru zoom workplace. NOPE. I NEVER wanted that. I only want zoom to show up on my outlook calendar, which is already integrated with two other calendars. That's ENOUGH! Please, just allow us a standalone version and STOP trying to sell us more crap! Resources are spread thin already (including my brain cells and most of all, my patience). You want to sell me something new, then stop copying everyone else that is doing the same thing and just upsetting their customers. Come up with something new and I'll be excited to see it. But everyone is making their product a whole suite (that has NOTHING to do with the original reason for us using that product to start with). It's really ridiculous. And a PAIN. Did you ever stop to think that rather than go thru switching everything over to a new suite, having to redo all integrations, and Zapier programming -- that it would be easier for me to just start doing Teams video meetings rather than keep using zoom or adopting their 'new' suite that is nothing but yet another version of what i already have with Teams? In your quest to gain more, you are more than likely losing much more than you are gaining.

Evernote and Calendly all over again.  They want more rev so they become a Swiss Army knife and instead of being something good for everyone … they become nothing to no one.  This happened to Calendly and the UX became unusable.  For Evernote I found Apple Notes.  Simple, easy and does one thing well.  For Calendly I found Cal.com.  Does one thing well.  I need to find that and dump Zoom.  If anyone knows if there is a Notes and Cal.com for Zoom please reply.
