Yes, this is absolutely possible to script and execute via PS, cmd-line, terminal, etc.

Feel free to Google broadly (or search in this community) and you'll find a number of users who have built and shared similar scripts already.

Hi @bstrelko  ,sorry to say it but IMHO this is not a helpful answer -  googling did not help me much either as I did search on my own, I found no mentioned discussions or examples.
I do not like that there is no examples in discussion or links to mentioned similar cases, I wish for some more information.

I found a file `Zoom\bin\zUpdater.exe` that seemed related but it does not update or at least raise some dialog window on starting, just ends quietly. Same when running with admin privileges.

Can you provide us some example - or links to them - how to update Zoom in some way possible to automate, like command line (in any console that supports it) or via specific `.exe` ?
Best regards, Wiktor

The question was whether or not CLI-level updates were possible. The answer was "yes, they are".

It seems like you have a different question, which is related to how to perform an update via CLI or other automation. Feel free to post that one as a new topic in the community forum.

Well the topic was indeed `How` and the later form `Is it possible to` was I guess the polite form, while final intention was still to get some applicable information,
I did consider to open second discussion but it would duplicate the question here, would sound very much like the `How to update zoom to the latest version via command line ` above.
And as I searched, it is different case than this extensive article realted to `msiexec` https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0064484
If needed, I will provide the separate thread with specified information
