How to turn off notifications for non-Zoom calendar events?

Hi, Zoom Community,
I get Zoom pop-up notifications on my Windows 10 desktop for every event on my Google calendar. I only want Zoom to notify me about Zoom events. How can I turn off Zoom's notifications for the non-Zoom events??
Thank you!

Agreed, this is absurd.

Hi everyone!

I understand how frustrating it can be to receive non-Zoom-related notifications. Unfortunately, the notifications for your calendar events are all or nothing on the Zoom side, and there is currently no feature or toggle to adjust this. A feature request for this capability is on our future roadmap. We do not have an ETA at the moment, but rest assured, we are taking your feedback into consideration!

I appreciate your patience.

The original post in this thread was two years ago, and this moderator's response was about six months ago. Has Zoom done anything to address this issue? Is there an ETA on when a fix will be rolled out?

Nada. Zero. Zilch.

So after 30 min of searching the internet and the Zoom FAQs, I still haven't found an simple instruction to turn these darn notifications off!

SIMPLE ANSWER:

go to your Profile (https://zoom.us/profile )

scroll to the very bottom and under OTHER you can delete your calendar integration with Zoom.

Have you tried it? I'm not being snarky--I thought the same thing as you, but disconnecting my calendar from Zoom is what fixed this issue for me. Zoom still knows about your Zoom events and they still show up on the home screen, just without all the other stuff you don't want there.

You'll get no arguments from me about Zoom support generally being terrible and unresponsive, but DawnHolly is actually giving you the right answer here.

I did.  When you delete the email integration, zoom events do not show up on my calendar anymore.  I don't want to have to manually add them each time.  The point of all this is that it's such a simple fix from zoom to allow an option to turn off pop up notifications.  It being so simple is what makes this so frustrating on the users end.  I have switched to using Teams more and more because of this.  Zoom is about to lose a paying customer.

I agree 100%. This is a vital option. As an online therapist, the "pinging" of a non-Zoom event is disruptive. Please, please add this option.

For everyone visiting this article in 2025 and still very annoyed by the calendar notifications for every event, please leave feedback for Zoom via the instructions here:
https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0068808

Seems this is our only way out besides removing the calendar integration. Let's keep collecting the requests to let Zoom know this is a pressing feature.

Best,
B

Hi there.  Your suggestion is great.  However, there is no Help - Send Feedback as your linked article suggests.  They removed it.

In my current version of Zoom (as of this post), it's "Help - Report Problem" instead.

Also, as mentioned in the article, "Your account owners or admins must enable the Feedback to Zoom feature".  If you're not seeing either "Send Feedback" or "Report Problem" in Help, you might need to get that enabled first.
