My own webcam is to the left of my screen so it is more natural that when I am talking to someone during a shared session, my eyes are more directed towards the camera.

At the moment, it is not possible to swap the gallery and shared screen mode. However, I highly encourage you to submit this feature to our product teams via our feedback form https://zoom.us/feed. I think there may be others who are looking for similar functionality. Thanks!
