How to make sure I am always shown as the speaker in recordings

I keep having a recurring problem. When I open up my zoom class, I cannot pin myself until someone else enters the room. I try to pin myself as quickly as possible to make sure that I am recorded as the speaker alongside my shared screen but last week I was too slow and one of my students went on top. I pinned myself anyway and went on top but in the recording, it only recorded that student as the speaker for the entire recording so the whole thing was ruined. I've looked into the settings and I see nothing where I can set myself as primary speaker permanently. I had the same problem last year. There has to be something I'm missing otherwise this is a huge issue that Zoom needs to address. Could you please help? Thank you

Hi @Lectrice79 - did you manage to resolve this in the end? I am recording an event this week and want to make sure only the speakers are recorded. Thanks
