How do I hide the tool bar , my students find very annoying to see the black bar on their screen whenever I share screen, Tq.

hi @BentleyLee ,
Welcome to the forum,
If you see a black bar, then Zoom is having a hard time processing all your graphics.
It is concerned that your device does not have power to process the screen.
all the best

I have to disagree with John; as far as I know, *everyone* watching sees a black bar where the Host sees the toolbar. And getting rid of it is quite simple -- use the shortcut ^alt-sh-h.

This varies by device and OS which you did not share. Personally, I never see the menu bar or annotation bar when screen sharing.

I use Windows 11 with a Dell 9315 and with me, it appears right after you screen-share. I can disappear it with the shortcut but another problem is that on Zooms with Waiting Rooms, it appears -- along with a chime -- every time someone enters or leaves the meeting.
