How to hide Tool Bar

How do I hide the tool bar , my students find very annoying to see the black bar on their screen whenever I share screen, Tq.

Welcome to the forum,

If you see a black bar, then Zoom is having a hard time processing all your graphics. 
It is concerned that your device does not have power to process the screen.

No. That's absolute BS. This happens when you switch from Sharing screen to not sharing anymore. It has NOTHING to do with computer's graphics.

I have to disagree with John; as far as I know, *everyone* watching sees a black bar where the Host sees the toolbar. And getting rid of it is quite simple -- use the shortcut ^alt-sh-h.

This varies by device and OS which you did not share. Personally, I never see the menu bar or annotation bar when screen sharing.

I use Windows 11 with a Dell 9315 and with me, it appears right after you screen-share. I can disappear it with the shortcut but another problem is that on Zooms with Waiting Rooms, it appears -- along with a chime -- every time someone enters or leaves the meeting.
