How to STOP notification that host "is talking" when host has hidden self view

During a recent upgrade, I noticed that the notification "James is talking" (I am james) pops up in every zoom meeting when I "hide self view" and then begin to talk during the meeting.  This is INCREDIBLY distracting and makes me SELF-CONSCIOUS  and takes me out of the meeting.  In past versions of zoom (Two updates ago), this only used to show up when OTHER non-video participants spoke, but NOT the host.  This is AS DISTRACTING as having the green square highlighted on me while speaking, which is intolerable.  Is there a setting to make this go away?

The ask is simple - like CC, we need an option to enable/disable, vs. the inconsistent forcing of this feature.

Recently had the same problem. This fixed it for me:
Zoom Desktop application. Clicked on my profile picture.
    Settings
    Video
Uncheck "Show me as an active speaker when I talk"
    That fixed it for me.

Nice solution for personal zoom accounts, is there any way to do this for Zoom Rooms?

Hi @DA93 - perhaps I am misunderstanding your request/issue, but I can share that if a person in a Zoom Room is speaking, said Zoom Room will not show a message/notice of "[Room Name] is talking" on its own display, even if said Zoom Room has enabled video mute and has set the "View" menu setting "show non-video participants" to disabled.  If you are finding differently, please post some pictures and additional details!  Thanks!

Chiming in to concur that seeing my name in the "is talking" is ridiculous. They can't have an option to turn this off for the host at least when hiding self-view?! Is this possible? Do I need to know that I am talking?! I'm trying to do psychotherapy sessions and my podcast, and I am now all too aware that I'm talking, and I can't always put a stickie over it because it can cover the other person's face!
