It's in the app settings not the android settings

Thanks, that's helpful. Unfortunately, that's already enabled on mine. But, it still won't allow me to use bluetooth-connected hearing aids. I think they must use a different connection method than regular bluetooth speakers.

I'm having same problem. Zoom does not give an option to play audio to my bluetooth headphones. The speaker icon only toggles between mute and not muted. But, I can use the bluetooth headphones with both Whatsapp voice calling and entertainment apps such as Youtube and Netflix. I'm thinking the issue stems from these being headphones only, and not a full headset with both mic and headphones. Zoom doesn't seem to like the idea of using the phone's mic while using the bluetooth speaker/headphone

Fix - Enable Nearby devices permission for zoom in Android

Hello @SaraKarolina,

To connect your Bluetooth speaker to the Zoom desktop client, follow these steps:

1. Open the Zoom desktop client.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Navigate to the Audio section.
4. Check that your Bluetooth speaker is available and connected under both Microphone and Speaker output settings.
5. Ensure that the Bluetooth speaker remains connected during your meetings for seamless audio output.

Thanks

To connect a Bluetooth speaker to Zoom, pair the speaker with your device, set it as the default audio output, and select it in Zoom's audio settings.
