On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

How do I set up registration and payment for Zoom meetings?

Is there a means to have clients pay and register for Zoom meetings without having to use the 'Events' option?

We are running a meeting for less than 100 participants and are hoping to have them register and pay on Zoom and have the payment integrate with Stripe.  Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance

Michelle.

Hi, @emelle.

Meetings still can’t collect payments. In your post last year I recommended Eventbrite, but if that’s still not an option for you, the Zoom Events product has improved tremendously over the last 12 months, and can easily take payments for a series of meetings. The overall product of Zoom Events has a learning curve similar to Eventbrite, but the end result of having registration, payment, and Meeting Hosting all rolled into one package is pretty great.

Feel free to reach out to me to get a brief demonstration of how Zoom Events might work for you.
