Host, Co-Host or Interpreter able to make language channel settings for participants
The 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida is the nation's 3rd largest Judicial Circuit and it is currently using Zoom as its' platform of choice for Court hearings since the pandemic broke out. You all have been a great asset not just to the state of Florida but to its' citizens. I'm hoping this discussion sheds light and hopefully fixes a limitation we are experiencing with the interpretation system in zoom.
As you can imagine, here in South Florida we have heavy demand of language interpretation services from the courts. Currently, our staff have to instruct all attendees needing interpretation through a 4 button selection process in order to get them to the proper channel so they can hear the SpanishCreole language channel. This is highly disruptive to the court case and even if taken aside (breakout room) it is still requiring extra time and effort from court staff. It would be highly beneficial to the citizens of Florida if the court staff (Host, Co-Host and/or the Assigned Interpreter) could assign participants to a language channel. Similar to how the Host can now mute attendees/participants.
Thank you in advance.
