Gallery view to active speaker view

When I'm in a meeting with several participants I like to keep Zoom in Gallery view however every time someone starts talking for more than just a short comment, it jumps to Active Speaker mode.  How do I stop that from happening?!?  I chose Gallery for a reason, why is the program deciding I made the wrong choice?!

Hello,

It is possible that you have 'Multi-Speaker' view enabled which appears to have the behavior you are encountering. Verify in your meeting that Gallery Mode is selected, and that should hold.

If you could add a screenshot to confirm that your view is set to Gallery mode that could assist here.

I would also recommend making sure your Zoom Workplace App is up to date.

I hope this helps and please make sure to mark the solution as accepted if this information is what you needed.

Thank you,

Jake
