Enabling original sound for musicians not working

Hi- I am in US and take guitar lessons with a teacher in UK. He records the lessons for me. He uses a windows computer(I believe)  and I use my Ipad pro (updated)  and though I have checked enable original sound for musicians both in and out of a meeting my teacher CAN NOT hear my guitar. We can speak to each other but as soon as I play he says my guitar cannot be heard. I can see and  hear his guitar.  I take my lesson in a quiet room. He says I am the only student he has this issue with!
i tried taking a lesson on my patio and when i played the recording some of the sound cut off intermittently.

Had same issue.  Not caused by Zoom settings.  Resolved by modifying sound settings on my laptop.  Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what settings.  Problem had to do with default settings in Windows 11 (changed from Windos 10) that override Zoom settings.
