Does a GPU help? Feedback?

I'm trying to gauge if getting systems with discrete GPU's is worth it as we start to do more with audio/video collaboration. I'm looking at the Dell Precision line which has a variety of discrete GPU's and in some initial testing I tend to notice a difference. I can't find anything from Zoom stating if this is a recommended configuration to help optimize performance. Anyone can share any data on this?? Thanks much!!

These days I don't there are very many systems that couldn't benefit from having a decent GPU. Our web browsers user them, Slack, Discord, Zoom, along with the known list of video editors/players, games, etc.

I would say that if the systems remain in budget to include the GPU. I've included a screenshot of where Zoom leverages the GPU.
