Does Zoom Fatigue Really Exist?

I recently heard about Zoom fatigue from a colleague for the first time. We work remotely and only keep Zoom on during the morning hours, then switch it off in the afternoon. My friend mentioned feeling a significant sense of burden when turning on Zoom in the morning. They often feel the urge to turn off their camera multiple times throughout the workday.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Do you also find it exhausting to be on Zoom for extended periods? I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences.
