Concurrent License Plus

Hi everyone,

I have a Zoom Concurrent Plus License and I'm scheduling up to 20 meetings at the same time, each in a different room. I’ve assigned alternative hosts to each meeting so they can start them independently.

If those alternative hosts log in and start the meetings with cloud recording enabled, will all 20 recordings be saved under my Zoom account? Or will they be stored under each alternative host’s account instead?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this setup or knows how Zoom handles recording ownership in this scenario. Thanks!

Information specific to the Concurrent Plus License is hard to come by, but the concept is simple: 20 meetings can be held concurrently. Most individuals couldn’t possibly run 20 meetings themselves (though I know some developers that probably could manage it), but as you’ve discovered, you can assign Alt Hosts to start and run these meetings.

So I’m assuming that the normal rules for recording ownership with Alt Hosts will still apply to you. This guidance is helpful to anyone looking for “recordings that I started”:

Cloud recordings always belong to the meeting owner – the person for whom the meeting is scheduled. 

While this is often the person who scheduled the meeting, this guidance is also especially important to consider if you share Scheduling Privileges with a coworker. Someone with Scheduling Privilege on your behalf can schedule a meeting for you, but this makes you the owner of the meeting, regardless of the fact that your coworker scheduled the meeting.
