Cloud Recordings from Pro to Basic (organization account)

I am a new Zoom admin for an organization and would like to know if Zoom retains the cloud recordings for any users we move to a Basic account.

Things to Note:

  • We are currently provisioning Zoom accounts through OneLogin and looking to implement a process where we downgrade their license based on an internal status. Ideally we'd like to be able to do this without losing access to any cloud recordings.

    Dear Albertinac,

if the user is downgraded to basic, and is part of an paid account which has active licenses, the user will be able to access the cloud recordings
    - if the user is downgraded to basic, and is part of an account which has no licenses, the user will not be able to access the cloud recordings

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @SBBNN ,

Thank you so much for a quick response. 😊 When you say "part of a paid account which has active licenses", do you mean extra licenses available in the account or just that that account has active licenses being used by others in the organization?

Thank you again for your help!
