Changing name under my picture, need help

Are you trying to change the name on your account, or in a meeting? If you are in a meeting, find your name in the participant list, click the MORE button and choose Rename. You can also click the three dots in the upper right corner of your video and select Rename from there as well. Hope this helps.

Hi Julie

I want to change my name PERMANENTLY on my own account next to profile pic to my new MARRIED NAME.

Not during each meeting - permanently so I don't have to re-enter it.

Impossible to find answer online or via chat with AI

Is it your account, or someone else's? The ability to rename yourself can be allowed or restricted at the account level. Maybe the account isn't set to allow participants to rename themselves.
