Changing Account Setting

Does changing my account settings apply to existing scheduled meetings? Specifically I turned on Allow Participants to Join Without Host, and I want to be sure my previously scheduled meeting will allow it.  Thanks

I have the same question about existing meetings - does the change apply retroactively to previously scheduled meetings?
Also do changes to the system level Account Settings apply to all existing and new users or just to new users going forward?  And does the change apply to all their existing meetings, or just new meetings that they schedule going forward?
