Change my display name

How do I change the default name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting? Of course, I can click on the three dots and Rename, but I don't want to do this every single time I join a meeting. I went to Settings/ Profile / Edit My Profile, which launched a web page, then selected Profile, but the name listed under "Display Name" on this page is not the name that comes up on my video when I join a meeting.

I tried to do these steps. It was confusing because there are so many different links related to changing my name, and some of them just go to another FAQ page; but none of them help me with the issue I'm having.

In the web portal, it says my "display name" is [Short first name] [Full last name].

However, when I join a meeting, my name appears: [Full first name] [Initial of last name]. 

So, it would seem that the name that appears when I join a meeting is not my "display name".

How do I change the name that appears when I join a meeting?

Still having this issue. I have to Rename myself every time I join a meeting. Does anyone have any solutions beyond the FAQ links above?

I have the same problem - I can't change the display name.  Everything on my profile is correct.

I had to have the admin of that particular meeting change my name for me. I wasn't able to do it on my end.
