Cannot start zoom "Add failed, the calendar-related access permissions are not allowed."

"Add failed, the calendar-related access permissions are not allowed."

Cannot start zoom on Mac laptop.

Zoom is asking me to connect to mail and calendar and when I do try to connect google calendar, I get this response:

"Add failed, the calendar-related access permissions are not allowed."

Please HELP! 

How do we remove this feature from zoom and revert back to the original way of logging on without Zoom mail/calendar.

Hi @maryk2 welcome to the community! Seen this method work before, so please follow the steps and let me know if this resolves your issue! 

Remove Zoom’s access to the Google account.

1. Go to the Security section of the Google Account.
2. Under Third-party apps with account access, select Manage third-party access.
3. Select Zoom from the list, then click Remove Access.
4. Confirm additional prompts to remove access to Zoom.
5. Re-configure the calendar and contacts integration in the Zoom account. 
6. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
7. Click Profile.
8. Under Others, in the Calendar and Contact Integration section, click Configure Calendar and Contacts Service.
9. Select Google
10. Click Next.
11. Sign in to your Google account.
12. Checked all boxes on “Zoom want access to your Google account” and continue.
