Cannot set up fingerprint access on phone

Peppermint

When I try to set up fingerprint access on my phone, it says I need to sign out and back in again (including 2FA) to do this.  Once this is done, it returns me to the main meetings screen in the app i.e. it does not take me on to set up fingerprint access.  I've repeated the process several times.  Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Did you manage to solve this issue?

I'm having the same issue.

As I have a basic plan, I needed to try their chatbot, then proceed to open a ticket with the link it provided to submit a request. The link is: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000996591

I'll update again as soon as there will be any progress on this.

I just updated to version 5.14.2 (13117) and surprisingly I was able to successfully set fingerprint ID.

I guess something has changed for the best. I tried inspecting the Release Notes for Android, but couldn't find something specifically related to fingerprint ID.

To be on the same page, I changed nothing. Just installed the latest version. Not clearing the data nor the cache. Not resetting fingerprint ID or registering them from scratch. Nothing.
