Cannot see participants (including me) in meeting even with video ON

When I host a meeting I do not have this problem.

When I join a meeting all of the participants and myself are seen as black boxes - even though video is ON.

I've gone through all my settings and the community... and what I'm seeing tends to focus on this happening during screen sharing. I cannot see a screen share OR any of the participants at all during the meeting from the moment I join.

Any suggestions? I've updated zoom and my computer.
Thanks!

Thank you. While my situation was different (I only had this problem when I was not hosting the call and it was not just during a screen share but every participant and myself was black boxed), it did seem to work after I took care of the driver problem. I am on a mac and the process was different than explained in the link above but I appreciate you sharing this solution. Thank you! It's all fixed now.
