Hello everyone!
A locally saved recording cannot be converted.
It also does not appear in the list of recordings made.
However, there are the recordings in a folder with the temp files.
When double-clicking on the two “double_click_to_convert.zoom” files, the only error message that appears is “unknown file type”
Copying the files to another folder and trying
from there has not brought any improvement.
Operating system is Ubuntu.
Thanks
Ino

Zoom on Ubuntu (Linux), which doesn't support automatic conversion like Windows/Mac.
Zoom's local recording conversion tool only works on Windows/macOS. On Linux, the .zoom files are not automatically converted into MP4 or M4a. The .zoom format is proprietary and can’t be opened directly by standard media players.
Here's what you can do :
Copy the entire recording folder, including:
double_click_to_convert.zoom
All .zoom and .txt files
Paste it into a Windows or Mac machine with Zoom installed.
Double-click double_click_to_convert.zoom, and the Zoom client should convert the files into .mp4 and .m4a.
