Can you add passcode to Zoom Meeting Invite link received

I received Zoom meeting invite message, how the passcode is not embedded. Each time I click on the link I get prompted for the passcode and I have to enter it manually.

The Host does not embedded the passcode.

Is there a way to add or append the "passcode" to the Zoom link  I received?

This is a recurring meeting and would like to add or include the passcode I received so the link will automatically connect and login into the meeting.

Hi, @TonyS,

The Passcode is “encoded” by Zoom, so it’s not possible for you to directly add it to the Join URL. But you mentioned it’s actually recurring meeting. Your should be able to get the Join link during a meeting and save it for future use.

Click the security shield, normally it’s green but might be orange:

A window opens up with a variety of information bits about the meeting, including the Invitation URL. Copy that and save for next time.

You can always ask your meeting host to send you the “full meeting Join link with the embedded passcode”. Hopefully they’ll help you out!

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website or the Z-SPAN website.

When I copy the invite link I get the following string of characters:

https://us02web.zoom.us/j/<Meeting_ID> (Passcode: XXXX)

When I paste that in the URL I get the following error:

Invalid meeting ID. (3,000)

I guess the reason is that the spaces in the link are replaced by %20.

What can I do here as a user to embed the password properly to the link?
