I want to change my user name WITHOUT signing in, on my iPad. How can I do this? I recently uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, and now I have to change my name every time. It did not used to be this way.
I do tech support sessions by clicking on a meeting link. My name is NOW coming up as the name of my iPad. This is not correct. It USED to join the meeting (without me having to sign in) and have the correct name. Is this no longer possible??

If you are clicking a link to join you can change your name after joining as long as the host has not locked out this function. If the host has locked the function he can unlock it while the meeting is in session. Go to the participant list click on the menu (...) next to your name and change your name. If you make sure that use for future meetings is checked it will make that change effective for all future meetings.

That’s not it. I never had to change my name every time before. I’ve been doing this for over a year: tech support sessions weekly without signing into my account. My name used to be correct. Now it’s the name of my iPad every time. This started after I uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom on my iPad.
there IS no “use for future meetings” option.
