Can't log in with Google on Xiaomi Pad 6 (HyperOS 2.0.2.0)

Hello,

I’m having an issue logging into Zoom using the “Sign in with Google” option on my Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet. After I select my Google account, I get redirected to a screen that says “Zoom will launch in a few seconds,” but nothing happens. I’m stuck on that screen and Zoom does not open.

Details:

- Device: Xiaomi Pad 6

- OS: HyperOS 2.0.2.0 (Android 14)

- Zoom App Version: (please insert your version here)

- Issue: Google login hangs after authentication, app doesn't resume

I’ve tried:

- Reinstalling Zoom

- Clearing app cache and data

- Updating Android System WebView

- Using different browsers

- Manually switching back to Zoom

- All system updates are installed

The same Google account works fine on other devices (Windows PC, Android phone), so the issue seems specific to this tablet or OS.

Please advise on a fix or possible workaround. Thank you!

Best regards,

Mariia

Same here. It seems Zoom has problem with signing in and launching with Xiaomi Pad products. I have a Xiaomi Pad 7 and I am having the same issue. If I go into Zoom using a meeting ID without loghing in to my account, it works. But when I attempt to log in and launch. It is just stuck there. Any ZOOM personnel who can help with this?

Hai I was having the same issue but I find a way to fix it, I guess.

So what I did was going to the app setting (long press on the app and go to info the (i) logo) then go to the other permissions and make sure all the setting always on (green checklist)

After go back to the app, login as usual then before you chose an account to log in with, press the three dots on the top right corner and chose open in browser (mine was edge browser) then continue the log in process, the second you got to the "launch zoom" try to click it, if nothing happened try refresh the page and click it once again (later on my screen a pop up showed up asking if I wanna stay in the browser or open external app)

I dunno if that really the way to fix it, all I know after I did that it works, so hopefully it would help. I guess it worth a shot
