Can't hear until I log out and back in

When I log in to zoom, I successfully test my my audio.  However, when another participant joins the call they cannot hear me and I cannot hear them until I log out and log back in.  This happens evertime. I am using Windows 11.  Can anyone advise?  Thx

Please share step by step via words or pictures what you are doing when you login the first time and the second time. Do not include any sensitive information in the pictures.

Thx.  I click on the zoom link within the calendar invite "Join Zoom Meeting".   The zoom website for the call opens, followed by the zoom app and the preview window.  I click Join. When the other participant joins I can not hear them, I close everything out, then open it back up again the same way and everything works.  This happens every time.

 I have figured out the issue, it was a setting in audio using my external web cam as a microphone as standard.
