On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Can I add new virtual backgrounds to my options when I am not actually in a meeting?

I have a few pictures I use as backgrounds.  I want to add a couple more from a recent trip but I don't have a meeting scheduled at the moment.  Is there a way to do that from my account or do I have to wait until I am in a meeting and start hunting and uploading the photos then?

Thanks for help!

Yes, this is possible. Navigate to zoom.us/profile/setting -> Meeting -> In Meeting (Advanced) -> Virtual Background -> Manage xx Virtual Backgrounds:

From here, you'll be able to upload new virtual backgrounds.

If these settings are locked at the admin level, they can be unlocked via Account Management -> Account Settings -> Meeting -> In Meeting (Advanced):
